Effect of Ukraine - Russia War on India
When a war occurs in any part of the world, it affects everyone all over the world. It affects a country economically, socially and culturally. We can relate this by the Ukraine and Russia war. The war has affected almost every country in different ways. However, the war has not affected India very much. The direct impact of the war on India will be an increase in the prices of metal, gas, edible oils, crude oil etc., as it was expected that they will become stable after a bull run in 2021. The impact of the war is limited to the extent of trade between Russia and India as the share of Russia in India's total trade is just 1% so it won't effect much. In fact, most of the trade was on defense weapons. Besides, India bought S-400 from Russia during the war.
