Impact of COVID - 19 on Educational Sector

 It's a long time since we are fighting and battling with COVID - 19. Work from home has become the norm, especially for service organizations. Even after following the government instructions, the academic institutions had to shut down temporarily, affecting academic delivery. However, several academic institutions are reopening, still there is a fear of COVID in the minds of people.

Talking about the impacts on educational sector, several applications like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft teams, Cisco Webex, Discord etc, are there to take and attend online classes. Although these applications existed previously, but few people were aware of it. But in today's era, almost every adult and children know about each of the app and are using it as well. 

These applications became immense important for almost every person because people need to attend their office meetings through the above mentioned applications. Moreover, online education was promoted through these apps only. So we can say that, if these apps did not exist, then the educational sector would be adversely affected.

Online teaching brought an immense change in the lives of students. In my point of view, sitting in front of the electronic devices has no outdoor activity as compared to offline school due to which several children are suffering with health issues. Moreover, many children tend to cheat, spend hours on playing games which in turn leads to wastage of time. However, many children are sincere and try to take the benefit of everything available to them.

Nowadays every person tries to find problems in online education. But, many children attended several courses like learning coding which will benefit them in future. At the end I would like to conclude by saying that, every thing has its advantages and disadvantages, it depends on the person that what he/she does i.e he/she takes the advantages of the facility or misuse it.
